Sharon Verzeni Murder Trial Begins, Killer in Court

The victim's father, mother, sister and partner, Sergio Ruocco, are present today at the first hearing of the trial, before the Assize Court of Bergamo, which sees Moussa Sangare, 30 years old, accused, a confessed criminal of the murder of Sharon Verzeni, stabbed to death on the night between 29 and 30 July 2024 in Terno d'Isola, in the Bergamo area.

Also in the courtroom was the defendant , accused of voluntary homicide aggravated by premeditation and futile motives, for which his lawyer seems intent on requesting a psychiatric assessment. Sangare, short hair, beard and glasses, when he entered the transparent armored cage, sat down without meeting the gaze of Sharon's family members who seemed impassive, trying to contain their pain.

Sangare then sat down next to his lawyer.
