MG3 petrol only: it will arrive in Italy in spring. Price under 18 thousand euros

The petrol-only version of the MG3 is ready to land in Italy . It is already available in the United Kingdom, with a list price of 16,495 pounds (equal to 19,870 euros), the non-electrified variant of the British brand's car will arrive on the Italian market in April 2025. Under the hood there will be a 1.5 turbo petrol with 115 hp of maximum power and 148 Nm of torque , an engine already present in the MG range. The petrol version will therefore expand the MG3 range, for now composed only of the hybrid variant.

Compared to the MG3 Hybrid , the petrol version will be less powerful: in the electrified variant the engine reaches a maximum power of 195 hp and a torque of 425 Nm. This allows it to go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 8 seconds, while the internal combustion version will take 10.8. The latter, however, has a higher maximum speed: 185 km/h against 170. Consumption chapter: for the petrol MG3 these stand at 6.1 l/100km, while the Hybrid is able to travel the same distance using only 4.4 litres of fuel.

As previously mentioned, the petrol MG3 can already be ordered in the UK at a price of £16,495 (equivalent to €19,870). In Italy, it is expected to hit the market in April with a list price expected to be lower than that of the British market. In fact, the non-electrified MG3 should start at under €18,000 .
