He steals energy drinks from a store, then beats up the employees who chase him.

After stealing over twenty cans of energy drink from a supermarket, he attacked store employees who were chasing him along Borgo Stazione, hitting and grabbing them to secure his escape. For this, a 28-year-old Algerian national of no fixed address was arrested by the Udine Local Police on charges of improper robbery.

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 21, around 1:00 PM, and brought a patrol from the Local Police Emergency Response Unit to the scene, alerted by the business owner. The officers, thanks to the information provided, were able to intercept the man in Piazza della Repubblica and find the drinks he had hidden in his backpack. With the support of the Command's Judicial Police Unit, the officers arrested him red-handed for improper robbery, aggravated by the injuries he had inflicted on the shop owner.

The arrest was validated by the Judge of the Court of Udine and, by order of the Public Prosecutor, the man was placed in pre-trial detention in the prison on Via Spalato.
