An agent on duty in Cesenatico
Disputes between tourists and hoteliers are one of the most frequent requests for intervention received by the Cesenatico Police Department. In recent days, patrol cars have been deployed to several accommodation facilities in Cesenatico and Gatteo a Mare, responding to calls regarding disagreements between hotel owners and some guests over the amount owed for vacations spent at the hotel. In one case, the call was prompted by disagreements between a hotel owner and an employee who, despite failing her probationary period, refused to leave the accommodations provided by the hotel. In each case, the intervention of the uniformed officers successfully brought the opposing parties to reason, successfully resolving the disagreements amicably.
A Peruvian couple in their forties will have to pay dearly for alcohol abuse and disorderly conduct ; both husband and wife will have to pay fines ranging from €51 to €309 for drunkenness and disorderly conduct . An 18-year-old from Cesenatico suffered the same fate.
Among the acts of vandalism, two young men were reportedly punching and kicking the window of the bus stop platform. We are on the Viale Carducci waterfront, near the Agip gas station, in plain sight these days, including the cameras installed on all major roads and intersections. The two young men, both from Cesenatico, were particularly angry, though they did not specify their personal motivations. Initially, they maintained a hostile attitude, even towards the officers who intervened, who, despite some difficulty, managed to calm them down.
Specifically, one of the two struck the glass structure of the bus stop so hard that he sustained a wound to his right elbow. After being identified at the station and the appropriate investigation was completed, both were charged with aggravated criminal damage , following a complaint from ATR officials. In addition to facing legal trouble, they will also have to pay significant damages. One of the two twenty-year-olds was also charged with receiving a bracelet, which he initially attempted to hide, and which still had the price tag attached. After a search of local shops, the bracelet was returned to a shopkeeper in Gatteo a Mare who had not noticed the theft.
