Coppa Italia, Inter-Lazio quarter-finals on the field

On the field for the quarter-finals of the Italian football cup there is Inter-Lazio 0-0 LIVE.
The Eve:
Between the present of the pitch and the future of the market, Inter is ready to enter the decisive moment of the season. Having conquered the top spot after Napoli's misstep in Como, the Nerazzurri now no longer want to look back, starting with next Saturday's direct clash against the Partenopei at the Maradona.
First, however, Simone Inzaghi's team awaits the Coppa Italia quarter-final match tomorrow night against Lazio at San Siro. A match in which, thanks to the close distance from the big match of the championship, it seemed destined to be the Inter second lines above all: recent injuries (the latest being that of Zalewski to the calf) will force the Nerazzurri coach to field at least a couple of starters, starting with Dimarco. Still being in the fight on three fronts is in the meantime a "reason for pride", as explained by the president, Giuseppe Marotta, who took stock of the current season and future projects speaking on the sidelines of the company meeting that saw the appointment of the new Board of Directors and some changes to the statute. Marotta started from the current championship situation: "There are still twelve days and many points available. I don't know how it will end, the games are all open - he said -. Being first in the championship, being the only Italian team still in the Champions League and fighting for the Coppa Italia is a source of great pride and it is a reason to say that Inter respects its objectives also this year. Becoming champions of Italy again would be a source of pride. If someone is better than us we will bow down and say well done". The future, however, will see a change of model as regards the market. "In recent years we have made few investments, now the reference model will be slightly modified - explained Marotta -. The right philosophy of the ownership is to return to making investments in young profiles who are also capital assets and give a quality contribution to this team". But the future will still be with Inzaghi on the bench: "Renewal for Inzaghi? We haven't talked about it, the relationship with him is very good. When things are going well there is no reason to ask questions or critically analyze what is happening. In my opinion and in our opinion his cycle is not over and we would be proud to continue together", added the Inter president. Who then confirmed that next season the second team will be born, the Nerazzurri Under 23, and that on the project of the new San Siro "a proposal will soon be made together with Milan for an offer relating to the acquisition of the current area of San Siro and adjacent area, I won't add anything else for confidentiality. It is one of the main objectives of our ownership". Following the departure of former CEO Alessandro Antonello and independent directors Carlo Marchetti and Amedeo Carassai, Claudia D'Arpizio (independent director, senior partner and global head of Fashion and Luxury at Bain & Company), Diego Gigliani (independent director formerly of Manchester City, now president and general manager of the MLS club St. Louis City FC in the United States) and Massimiliano Catanese (chief of staff of Inter) join the new board of directors.
