Cadorna: Police stationary until 1 am. More checks in Rogoredo and Certosa

The prefect of Milan, Claudio Sgaraglia, held a meeting of the Steering Committee at Palazzo Diotti in the last few hours to update the initiatives envisaged by the Safe Stations Pact signed on 31 July on the basis of the indications provided by the Ministry of the Interior.
More lighting and video surveillanceDuring the meeting, according to a note, an updated overview was provided of the initiatives undertaken in terms of territorial control and the improvement of video surveillance and lighting systems at railway stations. The prefect assured that the actions to combat crime and degradation, some of which have already been started, "will continue with the utmost commitment".
Cadorna: police until 1amIn particular, at Cadorna station the railway police station was relocated to a more visible point, also ensuring the presence of permanent personnel until 1 am. Increased territorial control services were also decided for the stations of Milano Rogoredo and Milano Certosa, where further measures are planned to combat the social degradation of those areas.
The Safe Stations Pact was signed on July 31 by the Municipality of Milan, the police force, Rfi, Ferrovienord, citizens' committees and business associations. During the meeting, the latter expressed their appreciation for the work carried out in recent months.
