Amadeus and Google Join Forces — Again — To Bolster Flights Business

The interests of Amadeus and Google/ITA Software by Google seem to be more aligned today than they were 25 years ago.

Amadeus’ partnership with Google Flights and Google Cloud will enhance the user experience and strengthen the global presence of its airline IT business, CEO Luis Maroto said Thursday.

The collaboration — announced in May — integrates Google’s QPX flight offer management system and Google Flights with Amadeus’ airline platform, Nevio. Speaking during the company’s second quarter earnings call, Maroto said the partnership is designed to help Amadeus attract more airline customers.
