Weather: another episode of high tides until October 10

This is the case this week in the Southwest, until October 10. The weather forecast is mild, with temperatures up to 25 degrees. The highest temperatures are forecast for Wednesday, October 8 , with 109 at dawn and 110 in the evening. This means, for example, in Royan, a maximum water height of 5.87 meters at 6:32 p.m. compared to 1 meter at 12:46 a.m. the following day.
These periods are very popular with the general public and with shore fishermen who love clams and razor clams because they reveal a larger part of the coastline.
The Maritime Prefecture is reiterating its call for vigilance regarding sea and coastal excursions. Sometimes, a few minutes can be enough to be cut off by a rising tide. The first piece of advice is to stay close to a safe haven and maintain a visual reference point on the coastline when entering the foreshore.
