Zambia-Morocco: What time and on which TV channel can you watch the 2026 World Cup qualifying match?

Morocco qualified for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada after a resounding 5-0 victory over Niger in Rabat on Friday, becoming the first African team to secure a spot in the competition.

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ismael Saibari, who scored twice (29th and 38th), striker Ayoub El Kaabi (Olympiakos, 50th), centre-forward Hamza Igamane (Lille, 68th) and midfielder Azzedine Ounahi (Girona, 84th) gave the Atlas Lions, top of Group E, qualification for their third consecutive World Cup.

Morocco faces Zambia this Monday in the final day of qualifying.

Morocco coach Walid Regragui says the goal now is to complete the qualifying phase with a clean sheet and focus on the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), which Morocco will host from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.

The Atlas Lions will be looking for a second title, 50 years after their only continental triumph. Morocco has participated in the World Cup six times: in 1970, 1986, 1994, 1998, 2018, and 2022.

This qualification comes five years before the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

The match between Zambia and Morocco will be broadcast this Monday, September 8 at 3 p.m. on L'Equipe Live Foot.
