Weightlifting. U17 World Cup: Lison Forestier sixth in Peru

On Saturday evening (French time), Lison Forestier (Pontarlier) competed in the Youth World Championships in Lima. In Peru, she was competing in Group B of the 76 kg category. She first achieved a clear round in the snatch, finishing with a weight of 81 kg. In the clean and jerk, the Pontarlier native, coached by David Matam Matam, threw 95 kg and then 99 kg. However, although she cleaned 102 kg, she was unable to complete her lift.

With a total of 180 kg, Lison Forestier finished in sixth place after the nine competitors had passed through.
