Vuelta 2025: the Vingegaard-Almeida battle expected, the ranking

The 16th stage of the Vuelta a España, the day after the rest day, promises a promising route. It's 172 kilometers long, between Poio and Mos.Castro de Herville. While tomorrow's stage may be more conducive to a battle between the favorites, it should still be lively with the final, irregular climb of the Alto Castro de Herville (8.2 km at 5.2%). With a lead of just 46 seconds, Jonas Vingegaard seems to be in control of Almeida, but he must remain on his guard.
