Transfer window: despite its financial difficulties, OL continues its market to formalize the Czech Pavel Sulc

The 25-year-old international attacking midfielder will cost Olympique Lyonnais around €7.5 million excluding bonuses.
By Le Parisien with AFPLyon announced on Monday the signing of Czech international attacking midfielder Pavel Sulc from Viktoria Plzen on a four-year contract, until 2029, for a transfer worth €7.5 million with bonuses of up to €2.5 million.
A 15% interest on any potential capital gain in a future sale is also included in the transaction.
The 25-year-old, who has 14 caps for the national team (4 goals), has spent most of his career at Viktoria Plzen, the Czech Republic's runner-up, with whom he has made 167 appearances, scoring 47 goals and providing 31 assists. Last season, Sulc, who scored 20 goals and provided 15 assists, was voted the Czech league's best player.
Maintained in Ligue 1 at the last minute despite its shaky financial situation, OL nevertheless officially announced its third recruit after the Portuguese winger Afonso Moreira (2 million euros) and the Dutch defender Ruben Kluivert (3 million euros).
The case of American goalkeeper Matt Turner, signed for €8 million from Nottingham Forest, is a little more complicated since the deal was signed under the now-departed chairmanship of John Textor. While OL tried to break the deal, they ultimately decided to immediately loan their new goalkeeper to New England with a €3 million purchase option.
According to L'Equipe , OL should also register the signing of young Tyler Morton from Liverpool in the coming hours, for around 10 million euros.
