Toronto Masters 1000: Absent since Roland-Garros, Fils makes a successful comeback

The French number one, who skipped Wimbledon, qualified for the third round in Toronto, two months after his last match.
After two months of absence due to a back injury, French No. 1 Arthur Fils made a successful return to the circuit by winning in two sets 6-3, 6-4 against Spaniard Pablo Carreno, on Wednesday in the second round of the Masters 1000 in Toronto.
The current world number 21 has not played since withdrawing from Roland Garros following a stress fracture in his lower back. This injury forced him to withdraw before his third-round match against Andrey Rublev after a tough five-set encounter with Jaume Munar.
