The Premiers de Cordée association is organizing its Evasion day in Nice to offer a good time to sick children

Games, laughter, and fun: the program for the 6th Evasion Day organized by the Premiers de Cordée association on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Allianz Riviera promises to be a great one. The event is now firmly established, and it's a must-attend event for its beneficiaries: children who are sick and/or have disabilities.

For one Wednesday, they can indulge in a whole host of sports and recreational activities adapted to each individual's situation. Enough to inspire vocations, why not! Because while last summer's Paralympic Games put the spotlight on disabled sports, the opportunities to practice aren't always known to everyone.

The theme of this 6th edition is superheroes. It's a way to inspire the kids and show them that they too possess plenty of powers just waiting to explode. To accompany them, three champions: Lara Grangeon (swimming), Thierry Delarue (handicapped climbing), and Jean-Baptiste Alaize (para-athletics). They will come to prove to them that they, in turn, can become examples of success. The association's president and ice dancing medalist, Nathalie Péchalat, will also participate in the workshops. All that remains is to choose which ones to try first: children and their families will have a choice of twenty different sports disciplines, including curling, climbing, and surfing, supervised by qualified sports instructors and volunteers.

Other highly anticipated events include a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, including a visit to the National Sports Museum, as well as recreational activities (face painting, photos, etc.) on the theme of superheroes, offered by the event's partners and patrons.
