Michel Platini makes a surprise visit to the Var region to attend a football tournament

His public appearances are quite rare and deserve to be highlighted. However, as soon as he attends an event, Michel Platini quickly realizes that he is still popular, even among the youngest.

"Platoche" was in the Var region this Saturday, May 17th, at the Emile-Olivier sports complex in Saint-Maximin. The three-time Ballon d'Or winner clearly didn't make the trip by chance. The 72-time French international, who has been capped, attended an inter-seminary football tournament organized by his friend, Father Étienne.

In the space of a few minutes, the man who made millions of French people dream took numerous photos and signed autographs, before taking his place in the stands to watch the event as a spectator.
