The final day of the championship promises to be thrilling! While direct qualification for the Champions League is secured with PSG, Marseille, and Monaco, there's still a big battle for fourth place. Four teams can potentially secure a ticket to the preliminary round of the Champions League: Nice, Lyon, Strasbourg, and Lille. At the bottom of the table, Reims and Nantes are already almost guaranteed to avoid 17th place, synonymous with direct relegation, with a three-point lead over Saint-Etienne and a goal difference of more than +20. Specifically, Le Havre will not fall to 17th place if they win in Alsace, or in the event of a draw if Saint-Etienne fails to beat Toulouse. It would take a victory for the Greens against Toulouse and a defeat for Le Havre in Strasbourg, or a draw for Saint-Etienne and a defeat by more than five goals for Le Havre, for the places to be reversed and for ASSE to snatch the play-off spot.
