Ilenikhena and Diatta start in Lens, discover AS Monaco's starting eleven for the last day of Ligue 1

Monaco coach Adi Hütter had warned in a press conference on Friday that he intended to rest some of his players in Lens, where his team is playing the final day of Ligue 1 this Saturday evening (9 p.m.).

Already qualified for the next Champions League, following their 2-0 victory against Lyon last weekend, ASM only has second place to claim in Artois. They will need to achieve a better result than Marseille, who host Rennes at the same time, to clinch it. The Phocéens have a one-point lead.

This limited challenge has prompted Hütter to reinvigorate players who have been lacking playing time in recent weeks. In a 4-2-3-1 formation, the Austrian starts Ilenikhena up front and Magassa in his double pivot with Camara. The coach also relies on Diatta at right winger and Ben Seghir in a number 10 role. Captain Zakaria is on the bench, as is Kehrer.

Preferred to Embolo and Biereth who need a break, llenikhena will make his seventh start of the season, the first since January 5th and the Champions Trophy loss to Paris in Qatar (1-0). Diatta, for his part, had not started a match since February 22nd and the defeat to Lille (2-1).

Golovin (adductor), Balogun (ankle) and Al-Musrati (calf) are out. Salisu, Ouattara, Coulibaly and Diop have not been selected.

The Monaco eleven: Köhn - Teze, Singo, Mawissa, Henrique - Magassa, Camara - Diatta, Ben Seghir, Minamino (cap.) - Ilenikhena.
