AS Monaco has not commented on the matter, and the news has not leaked elsewhere, but it has been confirmed since the beginning of the summer. A former player of OGC Nice (2013-2015) and Le Havre (2015-2017), Grégoire Puel has joined the Monaco club as assistant coach of the U19s.
Head coach of the US Cap d'Ail flagship team (Départemental 1) for the last two seasons, Claude Puel's eldest son will assist Frédéric Barilaro with the young ASM squad.
As a reminder, his father spent his entire playing career on the Rock (1979-1996) before becoming a coach (1999-2001) and winning the French championship title with ASM in 2000.
