Football: Video of former PSG striker Edinson Cavani's incredible miss

The Uruguayan striker, who is ending his career in Argentina at Boca Juniors, missed an unmissable goal on Tuesday evening during the second round of the Copa Libertadores.
By Le ParisienDuring his career, Edinson Cavani has scored more than 400 goals, including 200 (138 in Ligue 1) with PSG. The current Boca Juniors striker, 38, has converted hundreds of chances, certainly more difficult ones, than the one he was offered on Tuesday in the 7th minute of added time during the second round of the Copa Libertadores against Peruvian club Allianza Lima (1-0).
But "El Matador" missed a goal that seemed all set, failing to take the ball two meters from the empty goal. The rebounds trapped the Uruguayan striker. The ball bounced off his leg before ending up in a goal kick. An incredible miss that had big consequences for his club who were leading 2-1 after losing the first leg. If Cavani had scored, Boca Junior would have qualified for the next stage of the competition.
But if Cavani redeemed himself somewhat by succeeding in his attempt during the penalty shootout, his teammate Alan Velssco missed his and Boca were eliminated. (2-1, 4 tab 5). The fiery Bombonera showed its anger by demanding the departures of all the players and staff. "Let them all leave," shouted the supporters.
