Car rally: one victory and three retirements in Cantal for the Dordogne-Périgord stable

This Sunday, the 29th Cantal Regional Rally took place in Aurillac. This event counted towards the French Rally Cup. The program featured 133 km, including 39 timed stages, for the 80 teams at the start, including four from the Dordogne-Périgord team.
Damien Rebière and Jean-Luc Mommeja, in a Honda Civic Type R, finished the rally in a fine 20th place, winning the N3 class. Alex Laroque and Nicolas Chaminade, in their Clio N3, were forced to retire on the sixth special stage with a stuck gearbox, while they were second in the N3 classification.
Another retirement was that of Yoann Lemble and Laura Rebière in SS3, following an engine overheating in their Peugeot 205 Rallye. Finally, Sébastien Besson and Lionel Gramont suffered the same fate in the first special stage, due to mechanical problems.
