A final between the United States and Germany in Lausanne

The United States reigned supreme against New Zealand.
The lineup for the U19 World Cup final, which will take place in Lausanne this Sunday evening (8 p.m.), is now known. It will pit the United States, winners eight times in 16 editions, against Germany, appearing at this stage of the competition for the first time.
The United States made short work of New Zealand on Saturday evening (120-64), just after the Germans' logical victory against Slovenia (84-72).
Earlier, Switzerland, eliminated the day before in the quarterfinals, had suffered a resounding defeat to Canada (51-93) in the classification match. The team coached by Ivan Rudez will conclude "their" World Cup this Sunday against Israel (11:30 a.m.). The winner will inherit the definitive 7th place in the tournament, and the loser will inherit the 8th place.
