Meta Ray-Ban Display: The glasses are a revolution, the first feedback is astonishing

Has Meta signed a real revolution? At its latest Meta Connect 2025 conference, the company unveiled three new connected glasses in partnership with Ray-Ban and Oakley. While the first two pairs only improve on the performance of the already known Meta glasses, the latest product, the Meta Ray-Ban Display, has reportedly impressed early testers.
The Meta Ray-Ban Display is a pair of glasses created in partnership with the company Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and the manufacturer Ray-Ban. Unlike the company's previous products, the Display features a fully integrated screen to replace your smartphone. Multiple functions are available, such as WhatsApp management, route tracking, and AI assistance. Several specialist journalists have already been invited to test the Meta Ray-Ban Display, and their feedback has been rave.
“The best glasses I have ever tested”This is how Victoria Song, a reporter for The Verge, describes Meta's latest product. She has been covering smart glasses for several years, including a documentary on the subject. In her initial reviews of the glasses, Victoria explains that the features of the Meta Ray-Ban Display are impressive. The journalist particularly mentions the intuitive hand gesture controls, even when the glasses aren't visible.
In France, some journalists were also able to get their hands on a first demonstration of the Meta Ray-Ban Display. This is notably the case of Nicolas Lellouche from the Numerama website . The journalist explains that he was "gobsmacked" by the Meta glasses and their various features. Nicolas points out that the functions allow you to do without a smartphone or a connected watch.
The Ray-Ban Meta Display will be available in the United States at the end of September, starting at $799. Currently, a European release is not planned until sometime in 2026.
