September 18, the warning shot

A country without a government for ten days – and for the third time in a year –, more than a million people in the streets and 588 actions throughout France , a level of strikers rarely reached in certain sectors, more than half of the French who approve this first day of inter-union mobilization…
The message could not be clearer, and reflects that of the ballot box: the President of the Republic no longer has any legitimacy to pursue his policies exclusively serving the richest. His political intrigues and maneuvers will do nothing to change that. A majority of citizens now aspire to a major change of direction and will not resign themselves to the destruction of public services and social gains.
There will be no political stability without social justice. Sébastien Lecornu, like all the improbable fuses that Emmanuel Macron will not hesitate to pull out of his – right – sleeve, will suffer the same fate as François Bayrou if he persists with his unjust, ineffective, and aimless austerity policy.
And it will take more than a few crumbs and symbolic measures to reverse the trend. The French no longer accept paying up for the waste of public money from all the tax breaks granted to the richest and largest companies without any compensation.
The success of this day is also a nice snub to all those, led by the Élysée Palace tenant, who were banking on a loss of influence by the unions, who succeeded in their bet to transform resignation into mobilization. Better still, the unity of the inter-union will prove to be a major asset in the balance of power this fall.
The next government will have to submit the 2026 budget bill by mid-October. The executive has one month left to listen to the message from the streets and respect the message from the ballot box. If it pushes through the bill again, it will bear full responsibility for the "political chaos" it has caused.
Social emergency is humanity 's priority every day.
- By exposing boss violence.
- By showing what those who work and those who aspire to do so experience.
- By giving employees the keys to understanding and the tools to defend themselves against ultra-liberal policies that degrade their quality of life.
Do you know of any other media outlets that do this? I want to know more!
