Saarland. A little salt in Franco-German friendship thanks to song

Sulzbach has all the makings of a pleasant provincial town, surrounded by green hills and marked by the salt mining that made its fortune. The town is integrated into the regional community of Saarbrücken, and its image is linked to music in the broadest sense: the largest guitar store in the Saarland is located there, but above all, the Salt Mill, a former industrial building witnessing a glorious era due to white gold and transformed into a cultural forum, has hosted the only Franco-German song contest since 2011.
