Rhône MP Abdelkader Lahmar accused of racist remarks in the National Assembly

Having been called a "guarantor" by the left-wing MP from the Rhône, Abdelkader Lahmar, during a debate on immigration, Hanane Mansouri (UDR) appealed to President Yaël Braun-Pivet to request disciplinary action.
Abdelkader Lahmar, the MP for the Rhône department, is at the center of a storm in the National Assembly following an incident and remarks he made in the chamber on Thursday. While Hanane Mansouri, a UDR MP, was defending a bill proposed by the National Rally aimed at reinstating the offense of illegal residence in France, the MP from the Rhône reportedly called her a "guarantee."
The far-right MP reacted immediately: " Excuse me? I see that one of my colleagues is calling me a 'guarantor '." A few hours later, in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the National Assembly, the young MP asserted that this remark referred to her Moroccan origins and deemed it " deeply inappropriate ." She called for disciplinary action to be taken against Abdelkader Lahmar, denouncing " a dangerous trend " that should not be ignored.
This morning, during my speech at the National Assembly, @AK_Lahmar called me a "pawn" because of my origins. The left is running out of arguments.
I call on @YaelBRAUNPIVET to ensure this MP is sanctioned to the full extent of his indecency. pic.twitter.com/wuCeXpVjHs
