Making “babies of European descent baptized” and “evangelizing”: Pierre-Édouard Stérin’s project

While L'Humanité had revealed the Pericles plan of the Catholic identity billionaire Pierre-Édouard Sterin, he has just distinguished himself again during a conference organized by the Institut du Bon Pasteur, a traditionalist Catholic group linked to the extreme right, last June.

In a video conference, he stated that "the priority areas for action in France are to have more babies of European descent," specifying that his objective was not limited to the evangelization of newborns, but also extended to non-Catholics and those who had left the Church.

The expression "of European stock," used by Pierre-Édouard Stérin, echoes a rhetoric frequently used by the far right, and particularly by supporters of the "great replacement" theory. The entrepreneur intends to actively support the National Rally's rise to power through his project called "Plan Périclès," to which he plans to devote €150 million of his own funds.
