The President of the National Assembly is expected at the Martin-Delbert bookstore on May 24 to sign her book "A ma place"

"Behind the scenes of power, small underhanded tricks and big battles, pride and regret." Yaël Braun-Pivet delivers a candid and intimate account in a book entitled "In My Place," published in April by Éditions Buchet-Chastel. At 54, the president of the National Assembly, the first woman in history to hold this position, opens up about her political career. In this lengthy account, she also discusses her family background, her community involvement, and her recent battle with breast cancer.

A mother of five, Yaël Braun-Pivet entered politics in 2016, first joining the Socialist Party before joining La République en Marche. Elected as a Member of Parliament for Yvelines in 2017, she has held the seat since June 28, 2022.

This Saturday, May 24, she will be signing books at the Martin-Delbert bookstore, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and no reservation is required.
