Briançon. Interministerial Committee for the 2030 Olympic Games: June 27th Date Confirmed by Prime Minister

Announced several weeks ago, the interministerial committee dedicated to the organization of the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games (2030 Olympics) will indeed take place in Briançon on Friday, June 27 , the Prime Minister's office confirmed to us.

This "Cijop" is expected to bring together several ministers under the aegis of François Bayrou . "The list is still being finalized," Matignon announced. At a minimum, the ministries of the environment, sports and tourism will be well represented in the Hautes-Alpes sub-prefecture "to discuss the legacy [of the Olympic Games] and the future of the mountains." While the meeting of government members, at a location yet to be determined, is expected to take up a good part of the day, a visit to the Olympic sites should also be planned.
