A book on consent written by Rhône MP Marie-Charlotte Garin will be released in June

"What is consent?" is the title of the book written by the Rhône ecologist MP Marie-Charlotte Garin, which will soon be published.
On April 1st, the National Assembly adopted the bill proposed by Rhône MP Marie-Charlotte Garin (Green Party), concerning the concept of consent. To further explore this issue, a short book written by the MP will be published on June 6th. Entitled "What is consent?" , the book aims to clarify and better define the concept of "consent."
Through this book, Marie-Charlotte Garin writes under a "double hat": "that of a parliamentarian who worked for 16 months on a bill to introduce the notion of non-consent into the penal code" and "that of a young woman who grew up in a society crossed by the Me Too movement"
A documentary book addressing the notion of consent as well as sexist and sexual violence, but also movements against violence against women such as MeToo and Balancetonporc: "This society, our society, hesitates. It hesitates because fully taking the measure of the words of women who have finally been heard, is to collectively agree to turn our backs on rape culture to fully embrace that of consent" (excerpt from the book.)
