"They don't care about clothes": on Telegram, French and German channels sexualize Vinted sellers

"Yet more proof that men are pigs." This is one of the many reactions spotted on X after the revelation of the existence of Telegram groups dedicated to sharing photos of Vinted sellers, obtained without their knowledge. On Sunday, Le Parisien exposed the sordid practices of one of these channels, called "Chasseur Vinted," which brings together more than 900 people. The absurd principle is simple: research the clothing resale app, ask women for additional photos, and then post them on this Telegram channel, where humiliation and sexualization without the knowledge of the women involved are commonplace.
Unsurprisingly, The group is predominantly composed of men. These users express their vulgarity and contempt for women through degrading messages and comments of crude sexist violence: "She's a slut" or "What beautiful whores."
