Yoga: Bordeaux's Bliss Festival partners with Pachamama Mantras de Billère

Tickets for the ^11th edition of the Bliss festival are now on sale. This year, the successful Bordeaux event (November 14-16) is joining forces with a Béarn event, Pachamama Mantras (October 3-5). Good vibes to share

Downward dog fans, take note: the ^11th edition of Bliss Bordeaux, the largest and oldest yoga festival in the province, rolls out its mats from November 14 to 16 in Darwin. This year, the event focuses on democratizing the practice.

The festival also offers more beginner classes and is becoming more educational, including in the presentation of the program. "I want to take yoga away from the clichés conveyed by social media: the practice isn't reserved for ultra-thin, supple, hipsters in leggings," says Laura Merchez, the event's director. The organizer wants to "show that yoga is for everyone, at all stages of life, even in cases of injury."

Along the same lines, teachers with diverse backgrounds are invited, some renowned and others more discreet, while ticketing is more inclusive with prices ranging from single tickets to masterclasses and full passes. In addition, "karma yoga" classes, with donations starting at five euros, will raise funds for the Iqbala association, which works to educate children in an African village.

New: the Bordeaux festival is partnering with Pachamama Mantras in Billère, Béarn , for three days of yoga, dance, sound journeys, and devotional songs (kirtans, bhajans). This collaboration is taking the form of a pass offering full access to both festivals.

In ten years, the Bordeaux festival has established itself as a must-see event for yoga enthusiasts, attended by 3,000 participants in 2024. This new edition features 100 hours of classes and workshops, for beginners and advanced levels, in yoga and other gentle practices (qigong, dragon dance, etc.), 60 speakers, live concerts, as well as free access events such as the yogi market with 60 exhibitors, 18 conferences and wellness stands.

The formula has made people envious: in June 2026, Bliss will be duplicated in Toulouse.
