The patron of the 2025 Telethon is from Nice... and you've been humming her songs all summer

The Nice singer Santa , a revelation on the French scene and already crowned with a Victoire de la Musique for her first album Recommence-moi , will be the patron of the 39th edition of the Téléthon on December 5 and 6, according to ICI.
Known to the general public thanks to her title Popcorn salé and ex-member of the group Hyphen Hyphen, the artist made an impression in September 2024 during the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, by covering Johnny Hallyday.
After Soprano, Kev Adams, Vianney and Mika, it is the Côte d'Azur native who will carry the torch for this major charity event.
For thirty hours of live broadcasts on France Télévisions, she will accompany patients and families, and already seems aware of the scale of the mission.
"I will humbly try to accompany these 30 hours with cheerfulness, even if I have an immense fear of not being up to it," she confesses to ICI , while saying she is "honored" to have been chosen.
"I want to blow up the counters of 3637"Committed, the singer says she wants to mobilize the public. "I want to make the 3637 counters explode. In these times when empathy is lacking, we need gestures of humanity to turn the tables," she explains.
For her, the Telethon, beyond the seriousness of rare diseases, symbolizes an energy of resistance: "Celebrating around serious things is a snub to fate."
Since 1987, the Téléthon, a must-see event on French television, has helped fund research.
In 2024, more than 96 million euros had been collected , a record.
