Our new weekly series takes you behind the scenes of daily life at the hospital, meeting the people who bring the hospital to life every day. Our first encounter with the Emergency Department, where no two days are ever the same.

In 2013, the emergency room at the Pont-à-Mousson hospital was about to close. " There were almost no doctors here ," explains Dr. Caroline Lejeune. "So, in Nancy, they asked us if we would be willing to come."

Since then, the Pont-à-Mousson emergency department has been part of an FMIH (interhospital medical federation) with the Nancy University Hospital. Therefore, the emergency physicians are the same in both establishments.
