The businessman, chairman of the American conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway, is retiring at 94. This savvy investor has left his mark on the world of finance. The fifth-richest person in the world, he is also an atypical billionaire, who has already bequeathed part of his wealth to charities.
At 94, Warren Buffett is hanging up his gloves and will retire by the end of the year. The CEO of the Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate announced this on Saturday, May 3, during the company's annual general meeting, held in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, where it is headquartered. A successor has already been chosen: Greg Abel, the current number two.
