Two types of work excluded: there is something new in the MaPrimeRénov' system

We told you about it this summer: MaPrimeRénov' aid will reopen from September 30 for comprehensive renovations.

But a new change has been announced, as our colleagues at the newspaper Ouest-France explain . Two types of work will be removed from the list of eligible modifications from January 1, 2026.

This concerns the insulation of walls and the installation of biomass boilers . These will no longer be subsidized, except in the case of comprehensive renovations. A decree was published this Tuesday in the Official Journal.

13,000 new files

On the other hand, insulation is maintained for the attic and the floor, as is the case for the installation of wood or pellet stoves.

As a reminder, when the system reopens at the end of the month, only 13,000 new applications will be accepted. This quota will be distributed throughout France.
