Turckheim. Cooperative wine cellar: 70 years of passion for wine

In post-war France, when the wine industry was completely disorganized, many cooperative wineries emerged. The one in Turckheim is one of them. It was founded in February 1955. The winery was built in 1956. "At the time, many Turckheim winegrowers had multiple jobs. They had a job at the paper mill or at Staub and a small plot of vines, not enough to support a family," says Jean-Michel Wisson, president of the winery since 2018, and a winegrower in Wihr-au-Val.
