Trump to delay most punitive taxes until August 1
Initially scheduled for Wednesday, the most punitive taxes will take effect on August 1.
US President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on Monday to postpone the implementation of his most punitive tariffs, initially scheduled for Wednesday, until August 1, his spokeswoman announced.
"The president will sign an executive order today to extend the deadline from July 9 to August 1," Karoline Leavitt said at a White House press conference.
