Even when beaten, Rachida Dati can't help but attack the public service... At the National Assembly on Monday, June 30, her reform of public broadcasting was just dismissed when the Minister of Culture became annoyed, in the Salle des Quatre-Colonnes, with a France Inter journalist inquiring about the mobilization of her own troops in the chamber. The question is nevertheless pertinent: where were the Macronist elected representatives, Horizons, Modem and Les Républicains (LR), to vote against the motion of rejection defended by the ecologists? In addition to a Monday usually deserted by the deputies, did the Macronists prefer to leave Dati alone with her text? With 94 votes in favor (and 38 against), the motion was adopted, inflicting yet another setback on the tenant of rue de Valois.
The text, which plans to bring together various public broadcasting companies (Radio France, France Télévisions and the INA) within a holding company , will now return to the Senate in its initial version. There is no chance of it returning to the Palais-Bourbon.
