Meurthe-et-Moselle. A gourmet design break at the Baccarat collection café

Adjoining the "Baccarat Collection" (the crystal factory museum), a boutique and café. A few pieces of interior jewelry (including light fixtures) are on display, such as the Tsarina's imposing candelabra. And more contemporary pieces: Philippe Starck 's Je te vois flou in the restaurant and Marcel Wanders' Le roi soleil above the bar.
Customers sit on chairs created by these two designers for afternoon tea (from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or for a savory break, based on quiche Lorraine, pâté Lorraine, and large salads. "The menu combines the history of Baccarat and regional products. We can accommodate up to 32 guests, often groups, who take the tour. It is always advisable to book," explains Mélodie Gueton, the manager of the Nellcote coffee collection.
A place open in March 2024, where Bachamois and local residents are also starting to have their habits, to have a drink or a lunch break.
In good weather, the garden, with its view of the Meurthe and the Saint-Rémy church, its designer pieces, and its immense weeping willow, welcomes guests. "We are closed in the evenings except for private bookings."
