Haute-Loire. The Quebec adventure of a Yssinge resident who jumped into the unknown

At 21, he left his hometown of Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon to cross the Atlantic. He started out as a bartender in Montreal, and today he works in a profession as spectacular as it is unexpected: bungee jumping. Between strokes of luck, encounters, and magnificent landscapes, he recounts his Canadian adventure.
For him, it all started with a need for somewhere else. Aurélien Ouillon is a young man from Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon who dreamed of living... passionately. "I wanted to live on another continent and feel the North American vibe," he confides. The United States? Too complicated to reach. He then chose Canada. "A good compromise," according to him. Off to Montreal.
The city, known for its mix of cultures and bilingualism, between French and English, immediately appealed to him. "If we struggle with a language, we always have our mother tongue to back us up," he smiles.
