Apprenticeship: State aid for hiring officially reduced

Apprenticeship aid officially reduced. After being announced at the end of December in the middle of the Christmas truce , the decree easing state support for apprenticeships was published this Sunday, February 23 in the Official Journal . It marks the end of the exceptional aid of 6,000 euros paid to all companies for hiring a work-study student. From now on, those with fewer than 250 employees will receive a check for 5,000 euros. For the largest, the potion is more bitter, with the boost falling to 2,000 euros. The amount, however, remains unchanged for employers recruiting an apprentice with a disability. "The aid is applicable for apprenticeship contracts concluded from Monday, February 24, 2025," the Ministry of Labor specified this Sunday.
