Forbach. Swim with a whale, float in space: a unique immersive experience at the Olympic swimming pool
Mulhouse artist Pierre Friquet, aka PYARé, is offering a unique aquatic virtual reality experience all this week at the Forbach Olympic swimming pool. Using a headset, snorkel, and flotation belt, swimmers can immerse themselves in the marine world, swim with a whale, and even float in space. The artist has developed a unique concept with which he's traveling the planet.
"The feeling is quite unique, you're truly immersed in another world." Christian is delighted as soon as he gets out of the water. The Forbach resident has just tested the immersive installation Spaced Out , in place at the Forbach Olympic swimming pool for the week. Equipped with a snorkel, a virtual reality mask, and a flotation belt, the user finds themselves immersed in a marine world, swimming in the middle of the ocean alongside a whale...
