In its weekly update, the ARS (Regional Health Agency) reported that two new swimming sites have been closed due to cyanobacteria, while two others have been permanently closed. The closure or monitoring of eight sites has been lifted.

For several weeks, cyanobacteria have been making life difficult for many swimming spots in the Dordogne. In its weekly update, the ARS (Regional Health Agency) indicated that six swimming sites are closed. The Alles-sur-Dordogne and Castelnaud-la-Chapelle bathing sites are new closures, while the closures for Port-Sainte-Foy and Tocane remain in place, but for Brantôme and Lisle, they remain in place until the end of the season. Regarding increased surveillance, three sites are affected, with surveillance continuing: Le Buisson-de-Cadouin, Limeuil, and Saint-Estèphe.

Please note that closures or increased surveillance have been lifted for eight bathing areas. Surveillance measures are in place at Carsac-Aillac, Coux-et-Bigaroque, Domme Pont-de-Cénac, Douchapt, Saint-Julien-de-Lampon, and Caudon Beach in Vitrac. Closures have been lifted at Montagrier and Saint-Aulaye.

These various restrictions will be updated by the ARS in a week.
