Severe thunderstorms tomorrow: here's the time they'll hit your area

This spring is definitely not going to be easy! Should we bring our winter wardrobe back from the cellar? This Monday, May 19, Météo France is placing some 34 departments on yellow alert . The forecast includes rain, thunder, lightning, potentially violent winds... and sometimes even hail! Nine departments are on orange alert.
The Southwest particularly affectedThis Monday, the southwest of France will be particularly affected. " La Chaîne Météo " reports gusts of nearly 100 km/h and warns of a high risk of hail, with hailstones up to 3 centimeters in diameter in the Midi-Pyrénées region, and heavy rain, particularly in the Limousin region.
Regions on alert are advised to exercise caution, particularly when traveling. It is recommended to avoid outdoor activities in the event of a sudden deterioration in weather conditions. Wind gusts could cause branches to fall and even localized power outages. It is also advisable to check the condition of roofs, shutters, and overhead objects that could be blown away by strong winds.
For farmers and winegrowers, these storms also represent a significant threat. Hail, in particular, can cause considerable damage to crops at this critical time of year. Many professionals therefore remain on alert, watching for warning bulletins to best anticipate protective measures . In the meantime, an entire country is hoping for a rapid return to milder weather, including us!
