A few days after Pablo Longoria's controversial comments about Ligue 1 referees, OM owner Frank McCourt expressed his support for his president.

3 days after the start of the controversy following the comments made by Pablo Longoria in Auxerre (0-3), Frank McCourt, shareholder of OM, seems to support the president of the Marseille club. While Longoria will be summoned by the LFP disciplinary committee on Wednesday, the Spanish manager does not seem weakened or discredited with his leaders. After the interview given to AFP published on Monday, the entourage of the American shareholder affirms that Longoria's reaction was "well received". As a reminder, the Ligue 1 referees have also announced that they are filing a defamation complaint against the Marseille manager.
