FIGAROVOX/INTERVIEW - Jean-Michel Aphatie declared on February 25 on the RTL set that "the Nazis behaved like [the French] in Algeria . " French colonization actually led to the end of centuries-old oppression, explains essayist Ferghane Azihari.

Ferghane AZIHARI - It would be absurd to downplay the violence of the conquest of Algeria , its share of massacres and dispossessions.
