These are the 10 countries that offer the most tranquility to tourists and reasons to visit them: safety and pleasure.

The Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ANATO) revealed at its annual conference, which ends this Friday, August 22, in Medellín, that Colombians are preferring trips to other countries rather than traveling within Colombia. For those interested, these are the 10 safest countries to visit.
Assist Card published its top 10 list of the most attractive and, above all, safe countries to travel to. The list was compiled based on the conditions required for a safe visit: avoiding conflict zones, minimizing risks, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
The ranking was based on the Global Peace Index (GPI), which evaluates three key dimensions each year:
- Security and social protection: crime rate, terrorism, homicides, violent demonstrations.
- Internal and international conflicts: degree of involvement of the country in wars or international tensions.
- Degree of militarization: military budget, number of weapons, access to heavy weapons.
