The 2025 National Coffee Festival will be held in Calarcá: learn about the activities you can attend.

In the heart of the Coffee Region, a Colombian region declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Calarcá is preparing for the 2025 National Coffee Festival: a cultural and experiential event that will make attendees fall in love with this municipality.

From June 13 to 30, national and international travelers will be able to enjoy a tour that includes heritage parades , contests and fairs, and even the sensorial richness of coffee, learning about its cultivation, planting, harvesting, and tasting.
The National Coffee Festival, led by the Mayor's Office of Calarcá with the support of Fontur, is a platform that highlights the impact of Colombian coffee , promotes tourism through the Coffee Cultural Landscape, and offers an authentic experience.

We invite all Colombians and travelers from around the world to experience Calarcá as a destination full of flavor, tradition, and unique experiences. Each edition of the National Coffee Festival strengthens tourism in the destination, stimulates the local economy, promotes rural entrepreneurship, and highlights sustainable practices related to coffee cultivation and consumption.
Among the unmissable activities of this edition of the event are:
- Coffee Cultural Landscape Parade: Saturday, June 28. A performance that combines the natural and cultural richness of Quindío, celebrating the UNESCO declaration. During the parade, you can see floats and performances celebrating the history, architecture, and traditions of the coffee-growing region.
- Coffee Rounds Parade and Festival Opening: Friday, June 13. Children and adolescents will be the stars of the opening of the Festival, in a parade that strengthens generational change and promotes pride in our roots.
- 32nd National Yipao Competition: Sunday, June 29. An exciting competition that pays tribute to the iconic Willys Jeep and the diverse ways of rural life in the Coffee Region. Competitions include agricultural loading, transporting, arts and crafts, and traditional piqué.
- 42nd National Coffee Pageant: June 24-29. Candidates from different regions of the country compete not only for a beauty pageant, but also to represent the coffee spirit of Colombia with intelligence and sensitivity.
- National Marching Band Festival: Sunday, June 22. A showcase of the country's young talent, where music, discipline, and artistic expression take over the streets of Calarcá.
