Red Sox celebrate their sweet 10,000th

Ceddanne Rafaela homered, Walker Buehler earned his first road win since April 26, and the Boston Red Sox routed the Washington Nationals 10-3 on Sunday for the 10,000th victory in franchise history.
Romy González had three hits for Boston (45-45), which has won five of seven games. The Red Sox are the second American League team to reach 10,000 wins, joining the New York Yankees.
Just as they did in Friday's 11-2 win over Washington, the Red Sox put the game away with a seven-run inning. Roman Anthony made it 3-0 in the third inning with an RBI single, and four batters later, Jarren Durán hit a two-run triple.
Buehler (6-6) allowed three runs, two of them earned, in just over five innings. He improved to 3-1 with a 2.67 ERA in six career appearances against Washington.
YAINER DIAZ homered, Josh Hader got the final four outs for his major league-leading 25th save, and the Houston Astros ruined Shohei Ohtani's 31st birthday, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4.
Ohtani made his fourth start of the season on the mound, pitching two scoreless innings as he continues to recover from elbow surgery. He struck out all three batters in the second inning.
Justin Wrobleski (4-3) relieved Ohtani to start the third inning, and that's when the Dodgers' trouble began.
Framber Valdez (10-4) struck out seven and allowed four runs in six innings.
For the Astros, Mexican Isaac Paredes, 4-2.
PETE ALONSO hit two home runs and drove in five runs, Brandon Nimmo hit his second grand slam in four days and the New York Mets routed the New York Yankees 12-6.
Carlos Rodón (9-6) was punished as the Bombers matched their season record with their sixth straight loss. They also lost six straight from June 13-18, marking the first time since 2000 that they've endured two six-game losing streaks in a year.
Casey Mize pitched seven innings and allowed just four hits, Spencer Torkelson homered, and the Detroit Tigers handed the Cleveland Guardians their ninth straight loss in a 1-0 shutout.
It's the fifth time during the Guardians' streak that they haven't scored a single run. It was the eleventh time this season they've been shut out, tying Pittsburgh for the most in the majors.
Addison Barger hit a go-ahead single in the 11th inning and the Blue Jays extended their winning streak to a season-high seven with a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.
In Miami, rookie Agustín Ramírez hit a two-run single in the eighth inning to break a tie, and the Miami Marlins beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2.
BROOKS LEE drove in the winning run with a bunt single in the ninth inning, and the Minnesota Twins defeated the Rays 6-5. For Tampa Bay, Mexican Jonathan Aranda went 1-for-4 with one run scored.
In Atlanta, a double by Dominican Ramón Laureano in the tenth gave the Baltimore Orioles the lead, who hit three home runs to beat the Atlanta Braves 9-6.
