Official: Dimayor awarded Once Caldas the points from the match against Unión Magdalena

The Dimayor Disciplinary Committee officially confirmed this Friday that Once Caldas had won 1-0 against Unión Magdalena in Santa Marta on May 4.
The club was sanctioned with "defeat due to withdrawal or resignation and a fine of twenty-eight million four hundred seventy thousand pesos ($28,470,000)." This means the final score of the match will be 0-3 in favor of Hernán Darío Herrera's team.
In addition, the Committee ordered "three (3) dates of partial suspension of the plaza (North and South Grandstands)" and another fine, this time, of 14,235,000 pesos.
Why was the match between Unión Magdalena and Once Caldas suspended? The match was suspended in the 80th minute when Unión fans invaded the pitch at the Sierra Nevada stadium in Santa Marta, resulting in the Once Caldas coach being attacked with a bottle. A ball boy was also injured.
However, in its defense, Unión argued that the attack on Herrera never happened and demanded that it be awarded the match.

The Committee's decision strengthens Once Caldas' presence among the top eight in the championship: they are seventh, with 29 points and, now, with a goal difference of +4.

The decision further complicates Unión Magdalena's position in the relegation table, adding to Friday's 3-1 defeat against Deportes Tolima in Ibagué.
The Samarios, who have not won this semester in the League, are last in the averages table, with 0.44, and would have to get at least 32 points in the 22 games they have left, two in this semester and the 20 of the round-robin phase of the 2025-II League, to at least reach the 1.00 that Llaneros currently has.
